What is this thing?!

GamerBar360 is possbly the greatest, most full-featured gamerbar in the world. Now, I can’t substanciate that claim, but let’s just say it’s a gamerbar with a ton of stuff. Think of it as a small version of 360Voice.com for your web site/blog. It’s a Flash based application that utilizes the API exposed by 360Voice.com. Aside from the standard gamercard, each game tile has it’s own stat card (your percent complete, achievement score, last time you played, how many times you’ve played it, etc..), it also pulls in your 360Voice badges, shows your current gaming streak, last time you played and brings in your last 5 360Voice blog entries. If you have a web site and on Xbox Live and have an account at 360Voice.com you’re all set. All you need to do is insert a few lines of code and wa-bo! Magic!

Why build such a beast?

Because I can! In all honesty I really love the 360voice service and although there are some great gamercard apps out thre, nothing exists (to my knowledge) that encompasses all those great features into one app. Sure you can grab a gamercard then grab a widget that pulls down your latest 360voice entry, and the some other items, but wouldn’t it be great if it all was in one nice, interactive app? I wanted to build something that “did it all”.

Sounds cool, how do I get mine?

Fairly strating forward, just follow the Download link. It’s a simple Flash file that you can place on your web site, pass in your GamerTag and WA-BO! Your GamerBar360 springs to life!

Uh, I’m not very good at this web-coding-thing.

Not to fear, There’s a handy readme file within the downloaded zip file explaining everything. You can also visit the Setup page for quick, on-line reference. For the most part, it’s cut-and-paste. If you’re still stuck, you can hop on over to the forums and get help.
